Notice: U.S. Customs Regulations & Value Declaration Policy
Dear Valued Customers,
To ensure smooth and hassle-free shipping to the United States, please review our updated U.S. Customs regulations and PINKBOX value declaration policies effective July 24, 2026.
1. U.S. Customs Duties & Tariff Updates
(Effective July 24, 2026)
- Minimum Duty Rate (12.5%+): Under revised U.S. Trade Act regulations (Section 301), a minimum customs duty rate of 12.5% is applied to imports, or the item-specific tariff rate if it exceeds 12.5% (e.g., higher rates for specific apparel or goods).
- DDP Conditions & Fees: Applicable tariffs, handling charges, and administrative processing fees under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms will be calculated based on custom regulations and added to your EMS or Airmail shipping costs.
2. Special Shipping Options: EMS Premium (FedEx) & FedEx Agent
- System Policy: The shipping and customs clearance system for EMS Premium (FedEx) and FedEx Agent remains unchanged.
- Payment terms: Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in the initial shipping fee and will be paid directly by the recipient upon delivery (DDU/DAP terms).
3. Declared Value Rules by Service Type
- Buying Service: The customs value is declared using the actual product price (excluding handling fees) converted into USD based on the exchange rate at the time of dispatch.
- Combine (Package Forwarding) Service: The customs value is declared strictly based on the USD value entered by the customer on the submission form.
4. Strict Policy on Declared Value & Customer Liability
⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Item Valuation & Down-Valuing
- Mandatory Accurate Declaration: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) strictly requires all imported packages to reflect their true purchase value. Under-declaring or requesting a lowered ("down-value") declaration is strictly prohibited under federal customs regulations.
- Customer Responsibility & Sole Liability:
- For Combine Services, customers are required to input truthful and accurate purchase values.
- If a customer provides, requests, or insists on an under-declared value, the customer assumes 100% full legal, regulatory, and financial responsibility.
- Any resulting customs holds, fines, package seizures, re-assessed tariffs, penalties, or return shipping fees will be borne entirely by the customer. PINKBOX accepts zero liability for any issues, loss, or delays resulting from inaccurate valuation entries.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain safe and compliant shipping standards.
Best regards,
PINKBOX Team
